I speak about ALL things related to the small business and start-up business world!

I am a business founder (twice over), marketing specialist and successful business builder.

I’ve spoken at events in Australia, Europe and the UK as well as run online webinars and training for small businesses through my various communities and networks.

Over my years in business, I’ve built a reputation for my down-to-earth business advice, approachability, and desire to share knowledge. Whether it’s a business event, in-house seminar, conference, workshop or online event, I’ll provide your audience with relevant, practical and inspiring content that sparks ideas and creates connections. With real life examples of failures and successes that your audience will be able to relate to.

My primary goal when speaking at your event, is to keep your audience engaged, to make your event as successful as possible. I will also work hard to align your event’s goal/s with my speech and love Q&A sessions, panels and sharing relevant case study examples.

My real passion is helping people to start, build and grow their own businesses by sharing knowledge and fostering connections

Bit of background about me

I am a Business Builder and Marketing & Branding specialist who understands the importance of strong alignment between marketing strategy and business priorities.

I have over 25 years of extensive working experience with a range of top tier multinational organisations, in industries including Professional Services, Airlines, Financial Services, High Tech, Legal Firms, and MedTech in both Australia and the UK.

In addition to my extensive corporate experience, I have successfully started, built and grown two very different businesses from scratch.

My start-up business journey

From 2009 – 2016, Founding partner of a sports clothing business serving schools and sporting associations across Australia (Skortshop). As the founding partner of the business, I contributed to growing revenue from a zero base, covering all aspects of the business lifecycle including strategy, product development, pricing, sales, supply chain, financial management and brand marketing.  

Towards the end of 2016, I had a desire to go back to my roots and real passion – marketing. So, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my second new business venture. This time focusing on what I really love to do –  help business owners and entrepreneurs to successfully market their businesses and in doing so – achieve their goals. I launched Spindrift Marketing  in 2017 with the mission to provide high-quality, affordable, and results driven marketing advice and services to small-medium sized businesses and start-up’s across Australia.

In my experience I have found that marketing is the fuel behind any business or organisation. In my work with business owners, it never ceases to amaze me the impact marketing has on the entire business. Once a business owner understands the foundations of marketing, and how it exists to help them reach their goals, they get excited about how these principles can impact everything they do – from HR, to customer service, to their messaging.
